History
The history of Idromeccanica Bertolini dates back to 1918, and the dawn of agricultural mechanics, when Ugo Bertolini founded the company that bears his name still today. It was a time when a few pioneer companies experimented with revolutionary solutions to make difficult farm work easier.
The company first specialized in making “double-acting” piston pumps for spraying, which soon became popular in national and international markets. Progressive evolution of the product followed the ever changing needs of the agricultural and industrial markets serviced by the company. Soon the first piston diaphragm volumetric pump was created, followed by the “simple-acting” piston pump, pressure regulators, etc.. A fine and complete collection of products was constantly being developed.
Bertolini holds a place in mechanics history with other companies like Lombardini, Landini, and Ruggerini, all proud entrepreneurs from the Emilia Romagna region in the world. Bertolini’s long history of unmatched enthusiasm and dedication has meant customers have always been able to rely on the company for constant progress solid experience.
